Generator 4.2 or 6 Kva

Generator 4.2 or 6 Kva

                                                     useful  information

Do  not overload the machine, you need to work out how many watts the machine being powered is requiring. Machines with large electrical engines such as 3 phase cannot  be used on our generators. They require too large of a start up procedure and will burnt itself out. To accomplish this you need to add load to the amount of wattage your machines requires and work it out  eg  a 2000 watt  machine requires 1000 watts to run thus you need a generator of at least 3000 watts  or 3kva to successfully run your machine. Check oil every 2 hours.

Machine Description/Features:

This 4.2Kva or 6KVA single Phase generator is fitted with a 6.5L capacity fuel tank. The units can deliver 4200 or 6000 watts of peakpower at a rated 230volts /50Hz. The motor is fitted with an oil alert system that will shut down automatically in event of a low oil reading. This power plant is easily started by use of a manual rope starter
Technical Specifications • kVA: 4.2 or 6 •  Phase: Single • Poles: 2 • Self-regulated brushless • Automatic voltage regulator

This machine uses unleaded (red) petrol only. Check engine oil every 2 hours no welders to be run off a generator as the welder draws too many amps and will burn out the alternators windings in the generator. Tested - if returned and does not deliver power it means the machine has been overloaded and a charge for repair will be added to your account - average cost of such repair R3500. - be careful not to overload a generator. When starting - advance the pull start to compression stroke before pulling to start or you will break the pull start. Additional charge of R850 will be added to the invoice if this occurs. Check trip switch if provided on the side of the machine if the generator does not deliver power. To avoid engine flooding always close petrol tap when switching engine off. Generator must cover wattage with max 80% duty cycle. E.g.800 watts needed must have 1000 watt (1kva) generator 3600 watt?4kva 4800 watts ? 6kva set the generator outside or vent the exhaust outside to prevent carbon monoxide from entering the home. Use fresh petrol when possible. If the generator is likely to sit long periods of time before being run again check cords that are to be plugged into the generator for frays and exposed wires do read your operation manual thoroughly to ensure safe operation of your generator. Do make sure all guards and shields are in place and in good working order. Do check oil levels before every use. Do store your portable generator in a dry, clean area that is easy to get to. When the lights go out, you don't want to trip over things to get the power going. Do set the generator outside or vent the exhaust outside to prevent carbon monoxide from entering the home. Do attach a ground wire to the generator to assure proper grounding. Without proper grounding, the ungrounded system may use you for the ground rod and you could be electrocuted. Do use fresh gasoline when possible. If the generator is likely to sit long periods of time before being run again, use a gasoline stabilizer. Do dry your hands if wet before touching the generator. Do plug appliances directly into the generator. Or, use a heavy duty, outdoor-rated extension cord that is rated (in watts or amps) at least equal to the sum of the connected appliance loads. Do start your generator at least once a month and let it run for a few minutes. If yours has a battery, trickle charge the battery from time to time to ensure it is ready to go. Do contact a licensed electrical contractor if you must connect the generator to the house wiring to power appliances.
