**Operating the Carpet Cleaner:**
- Attach the Upholstery or Carpet tool to the machine.
- Turn on the pump after adding the soap water.
- Turn off the pump and activate the vacuum motors to suck dry.
**Carpet Cleaning Steps:**
- Use a vacuum cleaner to remove loose dirt from the carpet.
- Pre-soak stains with carpet shampoo before cleaning.
- Apply the solution in a narrow strip using the tool, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Hand scrub stains by avoiding the Upholstery or Carpet tool.
- Use the vacuum cleaner to extract shampoo and dirt.
- For thorough cleaning, repeat the vacuum action.
**Refilling and Emptying Tanks:**
- Empty the recovery tank before refilling the solution tank.
- Use a clean container for mixing the soap solution.
- Empty the extraction tank before refilling with detergent.
- Mix 1 cup of cleaning solution with 4 liters of cold water.
- Fill the dispense tank with the soap mixture.
- Empty the recovery tank before adding water to the dispenser tank.
- Do not exceed 5 liters of water at a time.

- Hires are charged for time out – not time used. Minimum 1 day (1 day = 24 hrs)
- Scaffold is charged weekly, all other tools daily.
- Tools must be returned Clean please. e.g., if you paint onto a ladder, we charge for cleaning.
- Negligent damages get charged separately.
- Consumables not used, may be returned for refund.
- Only use heavy-duty extension leads, not thin household leads.
- If you pay by cash we can refund in cash, if you pay by card we refund onto the card. (we can't refund onto debit cards) - Card refunds can take up to 10 days.
- Weekend hire starts after 2 pm Friday until 9 am Monday = 1day charge. ( Sundays are free) If you are late on Monday it is for 2 days.
- If you keep machines for a long time we can give you a better rate, discuss with your hire controller in store.
