Useful Information

Always use the water supply from  a municipal water source. never use a borehole system as the unfiltered water poses many threats to the pumps internals on the machine. Make sure the water is turned on and passes through the machine for a minute to ensure the pump does not run dry. The extension lead is supplied in 20 metre lengths and is a 2.5 core thickness. This is in an effort to ensure enough power delivery. Garden hoses are 3/4 inch thick to provide correct water supply. The lance  or gun has a continous feed of water and has no stop trigger on the gun. This is too prevent back pressure issues.

Always make sure there is water running through the machine before turning on, this prevents major damage to the valves. Turn water on and run for 1 minute to release air before starting. If the machine runs without water even for 20 seconds the valves will burn. The nozzle has a rotating porcelain tip which is easily damaged by shock. Use a maximum 20 meter, 5 mm heavy duty three core lead per tool. Use only 20 mm or larger diameter supply hose. Please be careful when rinsing the machine after use, as the pressure is extreme and could damage the electrics. Remember to return all fittings and accessories, including the fitting on the machine. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in additional charges. Don't use this machine during the water restrictions. Hire our tools not responsible for any fines incurred. Hose fittings on machine do not adjust the pressure no bore hole gravity feed not allowed what affects the pressure? pipes read your operation manual thoroughly to ensure safe operation of your pressure washer. Make sure all guards and shields are in place and in good working order. Check oil levels before every use. Wear proper eye, face and hand protection when operating the equipment and pressure washing. Do attach nozzles and/ or accessories completely before starting the machine. Do keep hands and feet clear of the cleaning nozzle at all times. Do consider using a detergent or accessory to increase your cleaning power and decrease your cleaning time. Do direct the water at a downward arc when cleaning wood substrates. Spraying head-on can damage wood siding and decks. Do wash a small test area prior to starting your cleaning task. Do pressure wash the surface thoroughly. Do keep the wand and water jet at least 6 feet away from electrical wires, service boxes and entrances. A shock from service wires can be deadly. ? the supply hose thickness determines the volume of water the machine gets, if you use a thin hose you limit the amount of water and you get less pressure. ? the longer the hose pipe the less pressure you get as well. ? we suggest a 20 mm supply hose with max length of 20 meters. The output hose supplied is between 15 -20 meters, but and additional length can be supplied if needed for triple stories. Input pressure ? if you provide the machine with low pressure water the machine needs to now act as a suction pump as well and you will not get good cleaning pressure, do not use well-point pumps as they do not supply sufficient pressure. ? damage can occur to the machines valves if the machine does not get enough water or if the machine sucks air. The machines needs a minimum of 2 bar input pressure at a volume of no less than 25 litres per minute. Nozzle ? you get various types of nozzles. We supply the machine with a rotating, single jet, vorticed nozzle. These nozzles maximise the pressure per area, if you want less pressure stand further away from the surface you are cleaning. ? the lance on our machines do not have a trigger, this protects the machine from running in bypass mode and damaging the valves by overheating, admittedly, it is not ideal because the machine needs to be switched off to stop the pressure.
