Submersible Pump

  • This pump is able to empty clean water to a minimum level of approximately 10mm
  • Maximum delivery rate 250 l/min
  • Maximum delivery height 8 m
  • Pump is not designed to pump sand and must never run dry.
  • submersible pump (or electric submersible pump (ESP)) is a device which has a hermetically sealed motor close-coupled to the pump body. The whole assembly is submerged in the fluid to be pumped. The main advantage of this type of pump is that it prevents pump cavitation, a problem associated with a high elevation difference between pump and the fluid surface. Submersible pumps push fluid to the surface as opposed to jet pumps having to pull fluids.

    Typical application areas

Drainage of containers, water tanks, swimming pools, soak aways and flooded rooms

Usage Instructions
  • Pump must not run dry.
  • Do NOT use the pump anywhere near Sand as the machine has a plastic impellar which will become damaged by Sand.
  • No Stones - obviously - it is a clean water pump.
  • If the pump does not pump - turn sidways to release the airlock.
  • As these pumps are sealed units we are unable to make minor repairs - should you accidentally damage any part of the pump we will need to charge the full replacement cost.
  • Loose leaves at the bottom of swimming pools will clog and block the pump intake - when the pump flow becomes less clear the debris from the pump intake.
  • The float switch should always have free travel.
  • minimum water level for pump to opperate = 70mm
