  Application:
  1. Floor saws are designed for professional contractors requiring a portable, cost effective saw for large or small contracts.
  2. It is used primarily for  cutting   expansion and contraction joints.
  3. It is also used  for repairs to roads, slabs  or repairing road surfaces.
  4. It is easy to operate  and has a built in water tank.
 

       Instructions  and  operating tips;
  1. A Concrete Cutter with a  strong and simple design ensures accurate asphalt and concrete surface cutting work. The design has been proven to be a reliable, durable performer over years of service with contractors.
  2. Petrol Diamond wheels  of 300mm diameter  suitable for a cut of depth unto 110 mm is supplied with standard outfit.
  3. The trolley on which the engine is fitted also has a water rank which supplies a stream of water to keep the cutting blade cool during the operation. The adjustment to control the  depth of cut is also provided.
  4. A safety guard is provided over the diamond wheel to prevent in jury to the operator.
  5. Always check engine oil every 2 working hours.
  6. Always make sure you start  the machine with the blade off the ground to ensure there is no pressure on the engine.
  7. Check for play on shaft and that it is not loose.

Always return all tools clean please. Machinecan be used for cutting expansion joints in concrete floors or for in asphalt for laying cables. Check oil every 2 hrs. Use unleaded95 (green) fuel only. Use water to prolong life of the diamondblade. Advance to compression stroke before starting to prevent recoil damage. Service /replace air filter daily. Additional charge on blade usage. Do not twist machine while cutting. Never use the incorrect fuel. Do not keep the engine at an angle when cutting ,you can starve it of oil. Damaged recoils starters are invoiced at current retail rates. Don’t use if oil level is low
- If we deliver you must phone for collection please - we do not automatically collect.
- Machines are not insured, if not returned you will need to pay for the full replacement.
- Make sure you know how to use the tools. Ask if you need help, our friendly staff will assist. Also, make sure of safety requirements.
- Hires are charged for time out – not time used. Minimum 1 day (1 day = 24 hrs)
- Scaffold is charged weekly, all other tools daily.
- Tools must be returned Clean please. e.g., if you paint onto a ladder, we charge for cleaning.
- Negligent damages get charged separately.
- Consumables not used, may be returned for refund.
- Only use heavy-duty extension leads, not thin household leads.
- If you pay by cash we can refund in cash, if you pay by card we refund onto the card. (we can't refund onto debit cards) - Card refunds can take up to 10 days.
- Weekend hire starts after 2 pm Friday until 9 am Monday = 1day charge. ( Sundays are free) If you are late on Monday it is for 2 days.
- If you keep machines for a long time we can give you a better rate, discuss with your hire controller in store.
